The Fine Food Show North is set to return to Harrogate this month.
The event, which is run by the Guild of Fine Food is taking place at the Yorkshire Events Centre at the Great Yorkshire Showground and will showcase of over 150 of the finest food and drink producers from across the UK and beyond on Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th June.
The industry event attracts chefs and buyers from the UK’s top restaurants and retailers including Waitrose, Booths and Selfridges as well as many regional and national independents and is an opportunity for producers, many from the Yorkshire area, to showcase their products to a huge audience.
Exhibitors will include many Great Taste Award winners, the awards run by the Guild, which are known as the Oscars of the food industry and as well as being the North’s biggest showcase of innovative artisan food and drink products, visitors will also be able to take advantage of special show offers.
This month’s event will also see the return on the popular Feed the Dragon sessions, an opportunity for six producers to pitch their products to a panel of top food buyers and industry experts to gain insights into how big-name retailers approach product selection and pricing in the hope of them listing their products.
The Fine Shood Show North will also see the launch of The Booths Accelerator programme, as part of the retailer’s 175th birthday celebrations. Booths, who have 28 stores across the North of England in Yorkshire, Lancashire and Cumbria will be unveiling their new mentorship and support programme with the aim to help start-up food and drinks business flourish. Introduced to the trade by CEO Nigel Murray in a special session, it will offer a tailored programme of support to help grow, develop and sustain businesses of the future.
