Fresh Ideas from Speciality Food Show Harrogate 24-25 June

On June 24-25th one of Britain’s most respected food trade events, the *Harrogate Speciality Food Show*, will bring together hundreds of fine food buyers and artisan producers from the UK and beyond.

An annual focal point for food businesses from the heart of Britain, the show at the Yorkshire Event Centre also attracts top buyers from Scotland, Wales and the south of England.

The two-day event includes a series of skills workshops for deli and farm shop owners, and the ever popular Feed the Dragon, where small and upcoming producers will pitch their products Dragons Den-style to buyers from top retailers including Lewis & Cooper, Booths and Fodder.

Run by the Guild of Fine Food, the Harrogate Speciality Food Show attracts top end buyers from delis, farm shops, independent retailers, caterers and wholesalers looking for quality artisan produce with a real wow factor.

Guild director John Farrand explains: _”The real difference to the Harrogate Show is that it consistently attracts a high number of exhibitors who have never been seen at a trade show. That’s what fine food buyers want – to create a point of difference from the norm. It means buyers can source genuinely new products and identify the latest trends ““ all in one day.”_

Heather Parry from Fodder, the multi-award winning local food hall says, _”Harrogate’s Speciality Show is a great place to spot something new in the artisan food market, as well as the latest products from long established producers. With the quality of the exhibitors so high, I always return with some great new products.”_
