*Friday 13th and 20th April 2012 – Perfect Pastry!*
A good cook needs to know how to make perfect pastry and it needn’t be a mystery, or something to be frightened of! With a few simple techniques and some family secrets, you can learn how to make truly special sweet and savory pastry that works every time. It promises to be a busy morning with lots of hand on experience. And alongside recipes for a range pies and puddings, you’ll make a quiche for lunch and an apple tart to take away and enjoy at home with your family.

*Friday 18th May ““ A Piece of Cake!*
Banish the mystery from baking. With simple techniques and a few tricks of the
trade you’ll be making delicious & traditional recipes that are bound to impress. The cakes you will make include: Classic Victoria Sponge, Bakewell Tart and a yummy Lemon Drizzle Cake to takeaway and enjoy at home.

*Friday 22nd June ““ Summer Strawberries!*
From jams to puddings, English strawberries are one of the most popular and versatile of all summer fruit. Come along and learn how to make the finest Strawberry jam with Pimms, Chocolate & Strawberry Meringue and a delicious Summer Crumble to take away and enjoy at home.

*Friday 13th July ““ Garden to Table*
Nothing tastes better than home-grown vegetables and here you have the opportunity to experience picking and choosing seasonal produce from my kitchen garden and turning it into something wonderful to eat! No travel miles here – picked straight from the garden and into the pot! Enjoy making a wonderful Pea Soup for lunch, followed by delicious Carrot, Courgette & Orange Muffins and a wonderful Rustic Courgette Tart to take away and enjoy with your family at home. With tips throughout the day on what’s best to grow – and how to make the best use of it.

The classes will take place in my country kitchen, Gyn Race, Royd Lane, Millhouse Green, S36 9NY. Places are limited to 6 people per course. £45.00 pp
All courses include a farmhouse lunch, plus teas and coffees throughout the day (10am ““ 3pm). All equipment and ingredients will be supplied – you just need to bring yourself along and enjoy your day in the beautiful surroundings of Millhouse Green.
