Hockney demand secures second order for Wolds brewery

A Yorkshire Wolds micro brewery is delighted that the appeal of the Hockney exhibition at the Royal Academy in London has resulted in a second order from the prestigious catering company Peyton & Byrne.

Wold Newton based Wold Top Brewery has been supplying its Wold Top Bitter, Wold Gold, Wolds Way and gluten free beer Wold Top Against the Grain to the Restaurant at the Royal Academy on Piccadilly since the Hockney exhibition began in January as a result of a ‘Meet the Chefs’ day at Beverley Tickton Grange last September.

Commenting on the latest order, brewery owner Tom Mellor said; _”We are delighted that the public not only shares our enthusiasm about Hockney’s work and the Yorkshire Wolds, but they appear to like our Wolds beer too!”_
