A family run meatball company are making it their mission to save consumers from average tasting meatballs.
The Yorkshire Meatball Company based in Harrogate was founded in 2014 by father-and-son team David and Gareth Atkinson and are the UK’s first premium meatball brand and combine their love of the spherical tea time treat with a passion for welfare and provenance.
Rolled in Yorkshire in partnership with local butcher, Sykes House Farm, the duo use only high-welfare British beef and Yorkshire outdoor reared pork and are passionate about producing a product to be proud of.
David Atkinson said: “Our aim has always been to produce unrivalled meatballs. Hearty, wholesome and honest, made from the highest quality produce and uncompromising in flavour. It’s what we like to call proper food with no fuss.”
The company’s current range includes three flavours: Yorkshire Balls, a classic beef and pork seasoned meatball; Smokey Balls, seasoned with sweet smoked paprika and Hot Balls, made from spiced beef and pork and seasoned with chilli pepper.
