Celebrate the end of dry January with an evening of cocktail making magic at Bedale based Masons Gin.
The award-winning distillery are set to expand their range of gin-based experiences throughout 2022 with regular evening events for spirit enthusiasts hosted by their in-house mixologists.
Taking place at their state-of-the-art distillery, the events will give visitors the chance, learn the art of distilling, developing their senses with guided tastings of their spirit range and learning the coveted art of mixology.
Founded by husband and wife team Karl and Cathy Mason on World Gin Day in 2013, Masons was the first distillery to be established in Yorkshire and pioneered the gin boom in the county.
Aiming to create a gin that wasn’t just another label, the team have gone onto create an award-wining range, and their ever-expanding line has since been internationally recognised, collecting a host of industry accolades along the way.
The regular evening events will include the Masons Cocktail Experience which begins with a welcome Masons G&T in the distillery bar before an introduction to the vibrant history of cocktails and how the classics we have come to know and love took shape, before learning about some key cocktail styles and demonstrations using the Masons Gin range.
Participants will learn more about their own preferences, whilst enjoying some of Masons most popular cocktails alongside a charcuterie or cheese selection sharing platter with tips on how to recreate them at home.
As well as the Cocktail Experience, the team are also offering the Made the Masons Way event which will take visitors on a journey into the art of distillation and give them an insight into the skill, passion and dedication behind the scenes at Yorkshire’s most awarded gin, before heading for a tasting in the gin laboratory.
