New season treats from Rosebud Preserves

NEW SEASON products from award-winning Rosebud Preserves this March are its
Marmalades and Rhubarb Jams.

rosebudRosebud Preserves has been making its jams, marmalades, chutneys and jellies at
Masham, North Yorkshire, since 1989. The company was started by Elspeth Biltoft
and her founding principles, to source local produce whenever possible; to cook
traditional recipes; and practice time honoured techniques, without the use of
additives, preservatives or pectin; remain the same today.

Rosebud takes great care when sourcing ingredients for its products and has
developed longstanding relationships with many of its suppliers. For example, the
Seville oranges used to make their delicious marmalades come from a Spanish
orchard they have been working with since 1992, because of their assured quality and
excellent flavour. The new season forced rhubarb comes from a dedicated grower
from the famous ‘Triangle’ an area between Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield,
renowned for its special produce.

These proper jams and marmalades are made with generous amounts of fruit and
unrefined sugar only, with perhaps a hint of lemon juice where necessary to create
wonderful flavours.
