North Yorkshire business celebrates listing in Booths stores

The team at a North Yorkshire rapeseed oil business is celebrating after winning a contract to supply its bread dippers to Booths stores.

Thixendale based Charlie & Ivy’s has secured the listings for four of the lifestyle brand’s bread dippers in all branches of the family owned supermarket, dubbed the Waitrose of the North which has sites across Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire.

Their range comprises the best-selling flavours Lemon, Balsamic and Juniper Berry;
Smoked Garlic and Black Peppercorn and Great Taste award winners Garlic, Oregano and Balsamic and Chilli, Garlic and Ginger.

Charlie & Ivy’s Business Development Manager, Richard Sharp said: “We developed the brand for informal entertaining with friends and the versatile dippers are fabulous simply with crusty bread and amazing drizzled over salads, pastas or pizza.

“Booths have a great reputation for working closely with local suppliers so naturally, we are delighted to join them and look forward to growing the Charlie & Ivy’s brand together.”

Charlie & Ivy’s award-winning range also includes dressings and mayonnaise which are available to buy online and at independent stores throughout the UK.

Their sister company, Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil was established in 2008 by Adam and Jennie Palmer on their farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds.  They produce a range of oils, dressings and mayonnaise using their award-winning rapeseed oil that is produced exclusively from home and Yorkshire Wolds grown rape which is pressed, blended, bottled and labelled on the family farm.
