Visitors to The Devonshire Arms will be treated to something a little different this summer with the launch of their new pop-up Laurent Perrier Champagne & Seafood Terrace.
The new restaurant, which launched at the end of July, is located under canvas on the hotel’s lawns, and allows guests to enjoying uninterrupted views of the River Wharfe and Beamsley Beacon whilst dining al fresco on seafood freshly caught off the Yorkshire coast.
The menu, which includes fresh mackerel, lobster, beetroot gravadlax, crab and caviar is served on sharing plattters and designed to be accompanied with Laurent Perrier Champagne La Cuvée, or a chilled New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
Richard Palmer, Managing Director of The Devonshire Hotels and Restaurants Group said: “We’re really excited to be launching this new pop up restaurant for the summer season, which will add a ‘resort feel’ to our offering here at The Dev.
Following the easing of lockdown measures The Devonshire Group’s hotels and inns, set amongst the picturesque 33,000 acre Bolton Abbey Estate, have all been awarded the new Visit England ‘Good to Go’ accolade, which acts as a stamp of reassurance to their guests to demonstrate those business adhering completely to strict COVID-19 government and industry guidelines.
Richard continues: “We’ve designed the area to be generous with lots of space allocated between the tables, allowing guests to make the most of the spectacular scenery. Our summer has already been cut a little short this year, so we can’t wait to see guests making the most of the warm summer afternoons and evenings still to come.”
Along with the champagne and seafood pop-up, the award-winning hotel is also home to the 3 AA rosette Burlington restaurant and The Brasserie, which serves a less formal selection of dishes and focusses on locally sourced meat and seasonal produce, much of it grown in the Estate’s kitchen gardens.
The Seafood & Champagne Bar is open daily from noon – 8pm 7 until mid September. Booking is required on 01756 718 100 or email email@example.com.
