Open to any independent Yorkshire food and drink retailer, farm shop, delicatessen or specialist food retailer, whether you trade from a physical shop, online, or both.

This category celebrates outstanding customer experience, regardless of the size of your business. Our judges are looking for Yorkshire retailers who go above and beyond to create a welcoming, enjoyable shopping experience, showcase excellent Yorkshire food and drink, and demonstrate genuine knowledge, passion and commitment to customer service.

Whether you’re a small farm shop, a bustling town-centre deli, or a larger destination retailer, what matters is how well you connect with your customers and the experience you create for them.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are shortlisted, your certificate will be printed using the company name exactly as you have written it below. Please take particular care when completing this section of the entry form.

Supporting Documentation

Examples of supporting documentation you can provide include your supplier list, shelf talkers, customer reviews, or awards. To allow for a fair process, whilst the judges may review supporting documentation, entries will be assessed by the content of the entry aligned to the criteria requested in order to decide the shortlist.
