Rosalinds Larder scoop two medals at the World Marmalade Awards

The team at Rosalind’s Larder are celebrating after being awarded two prestigious prizes at the 2023 World Marmalade Awards.

Founded in 2005, the competition is hosted by the Dalemain Estate in the Lake District and attracts entries from countries around the world including Taiwan, Brazil, Norway, India and Senegal.

Rosalind’s Larder, who produce a range of sweet and savoury artisan preserves, won silver awards for both their new Quince, Orange and Cardamom Marmalade and Seville Orange Marmalade with Brandy.

Founder Rosalind Waugh said: “I absolutely delighted to have two of my products recognised in such a prestigious competition.

“My Quince, Orange and Cardamom Marmalade is a new product only recently added to my range and was only one point off being awarded a gold, so I’m delighted that the judges were impressed by its innovative balance of flavours.”

Each year the Estate stages their annual Marmalade Festival as the culmination of the Awards, with marmalade jars displayed in every part of the house, along with a range of talks and tastings hosted by a collection of hand-picked experts from around the world.
