Slingsby Gin has entered its next chapter under new owners Chris and Asma Williams.
Rooted in the landscapes and traditions of Yorkshire, and inspired by the Spirit of Harrogate, Slingsby Gin has built a strong reputation for its distinctive character and carefully considered approach to gin-making.
Under its new ownership, Slingsby Gin will become a family-run business, focused on preserving the commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and Yorkshire heritage that have defined the brand over the last decade.
A number of existing team members will also remain in place, ensuring valuable continuity of expertise, knowledge, and relationships as the brand moves into its next phase.
New owner Chris Williams said: “Slingsby Gin is a brand with a strong identity and a loyal following, and it’s a privilege to continue its journey as a family business. We are committed to building on what has already been achieved, while ensuring continuity for our customers, trade partners, and stakeholders.”
Named after William Slingsby, who discovered the unique properties of Harrogate’s Tewit Well in 1571, the range is crafted using locally sourced botanicals, water drawn from the world-famous Harrogate aquifer, pure single grain spirit and a handful of the finest ingredients from around the world, and since launching in 2015, has won more than 100 industry awards, reflecting its commitment to exceptional quality and flavour.
