A Harrogate-based artisan gin brand are celebrating after confirming a two year listing with two national hotels.
Slingsby’s Gin will now have their signature London Dry Gin stocked in all 17 of Hotel du Vin properties across the UK, whilst Malmaison has confirmed it will list Slingsby’s Rhubarb Gin as a key spirit for its new ‘Malchemy’ cocktail menu, from 1 August in all of its 15 locations.
Since launching in August 2015, Slingsby have surpassed the million-pound sales mark and their range of three award-winning gins continues to impress, having recently won the trophy for their Best Ultra-Premium for their London Dry Gin at the World Gin Awards.
This listings, which are the firms first national one is a significant step for Slingsby whose products are all made using ingredients sourced locally from across Yorkshire.
Slingsby Co-Founder Marcus Black said: “It’s an exciting time to be making gin in the UK, for sure. Our gin is a true product of its surroundings, from locally grown botanicals, the glassware we source and manpower we use. It’s authentic and people can relate to it.
