North Yorkshire-based brand The Honest Bean Co., have announced the launch of their very first podcast, Behind the Beans.
Founded in 2018 by siblings Adam Palmer and Zoe Oates on their family farm in Thixendale, the company is on a mission to create delicious and sustainable plant-based snacks using 100% UK-grown fava beans.
Hosted by marketing executive and self-proclaimed “bean queen” Hattie Gillingham, Behind the Beans will explore the stories, ideas, and values behind British beans and pulses as well as the team’s passion for food, health and sustainability.
Hattie said: “At The Honest Bean Co. we’re all about showing that snacking can be simple, sustainable and satisfying, and the new podcast will be lifting the lid on our journey as farmers and snack producers, whilst also talking to some fantastic guests who are a huge inspiration to us”.
The first 4 episodes are available on most major streaming platforms including Apple Music, Podchaser and Podbean, with featured guests including Honest Bean Founder Adam Palmer, organic farmer and grower for the Honest Bean Co., Mike Stringer, award-winning Registered Nutritionist Dr Lucy Williamson and Dr Hannah Fraser, an NHS doctor, organic farmer and Nuffield scholar.
