South Yorkshire family-run bakery, The Topping Pie Company, has increased sales of its award winning pies into the cruise liner market thanks to a partnership with Cavendish Ships Stores Ltd, the UK’s premier ships stores suppliers.
The Doncaster-made pies have been so well received that the bakery will now be supplying more than 20 cruise liners, increasing from just 6 ships since the partnership began 4 years ago and passengers and crew will now be able to tuck into top quality traditional hot and cold pies from Yorkshire.
The range will include traditionally handcrafted pies made to family recipes and using premium Red Tractor pork and locally sourced ingredients, and include the multi award winning Yorkshire Farmer’s pork pie and the Regal Game and Poultry pork pie amongst others.
