Get into the spirit of Wimbledon finals weekend with this seasonal cocktail from the team at Harrogate based Slingsby Gin. Using their London Dry or Rhubarb versions, this fruity tipple is perfect to be sipped in the garden with one eye on the tennis.
Gin fans will also be able to enjoy Slingsby Gin in luxury surroundings as part of a recent partnership with Hotel du Vin in Harrogate.
The two businesses teamed up this month to provide visitors with a fortnight of tennis themed drinks and activities which comes to an end this weekend.
Located on Prospect Place in Harrogate will be opening its courtyard for themed cocktails, al fresco dining offers and match screenings.
Ingredients
50ml Slingsby London Dry Gin or Slingsby Rhubarb Gin
1 Egg White
20ml Lemon Juice
5 Raspberries
25ml Strawberry Liqueur
- Shake all ingredients without ice for about 30 seconds.
- Add half a cup of ice, then shake again until cold.
- Strain into a chilled coup glass and garnish with a strawberry.
