The team at butter business The Yorkshire Kitchen appeared on James Martin’s Saturday Morning programme this weekend.
The Barnsley based company, run by husband-and-wife team Jamie and Sarah Stokes produce a range of handcrafted sweet and savoury butters and featured in a segment of the popular Saturday morning programme hosted by Yorkshire born chef James Martin.
Alongside fellow chef Glynn Purnell, the duo were seen cooking with The Yorkshire Kitchen’s savoury butters including garlic & herb and chilli whilst cooking prawns, scallops and crab on a barbecue in James’s outdoor kitchen.
Owner Sarah said: “We were delighted to have had the opportunity to feature on the programme with our butters and have James and Glynn cook with them too.
“James and the team made us feel very at ease, and asked us a lot about the business, how it started, and what our plans for the future are.”
Alongside the savoury flavours, the business also produce a popular range of sweet varieties, designed to be enjoyed as an accompaniment to puddings, pastries and cakes.
Sarah continues: “We were particularly thrilled that they especially liked our brandy butter, which is a great endorsement ahead of the festive season!”
