Tipple Tails to Pop-up in Paris

A Yorkshire fruit cake producer are to have their award-winning products featured in a pop-up store in the centre of Paris.

Sheffield based Tipple Tails run by Jane Stammers, were selected for the shop by the commercial team in charge of the agri-food campaign at the British Embassy in Paris, in partnership with distributor Emma’s Corner.

The pop-up store, which will feature a range of British deli products at Lafayette Gourmet, a prestigious French department store in the centre of Paris, was officially launched on 1st February and will run until 6th March.

Emma’s Corner carefully selected a range of traditional British premium brands to be included in the flagship Paris store, with the popup also featuring in Lafayette Gourmet branches in Marseille and Nice.

Chosen for their local sourcing and traditional methods of production, Tipple Tails who hold a host of national awards for their products will have their Mini Fruit Cake Collection with its new gift packaging featured in the prestigious stores.

Jane said: “We’re very proud of our Yorkshire roots and this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our products in a high-quality retail environment on the continent.  I’m sure the French, who are famous for their love of patisserie, will enjoy our contemporary fruit cakes!”

The British deli products will be in the spotlight and throughout the month of February, and Jane will be travelling to Paris to host tastings at Lafayette Gourmet on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th February, giving the Parisians the chance to sample these moreish tea time treats.
