Yorkshire coast brewery creates employment

Growing demand for a Yorkshire coast’s award winning beers has created a new job.
Wold Newton microbrewery, Wold Top Brewery has recruited Tom Cooper primarily to help with the running of the bottling line, but as with all the members of the close knit team of 15, he will also be involved in other areas of the business.
Tom Cooper, 34, may be more familiar to festival goers as the husband of Leila Cooper, who organises the annual Moonbeams Wold Top Folk Festival. The couple were married at Hunmanby Grange, home to Wold Top Brewery, in July 2012. They live in a Lowthorpe, near Driffield and Tom’s interests away from the brewery include cycling, rugby, live music and spending time with family and friends.
Of the appointment, Tom said: “It’s a really exciting time to join the brewery and I’m really enjoying being a part of the team.”
Brewery Operations Manager, Alex Balchin is equally happy: “Tom has fitted in brilliantly and has made a valuable contribution in only a short space of time.”
