An award-winning South Yorkshire based crisp company have launched a new product into their Gourmet Range, inspired by the Italian summer.
The Yorkshire Crisp Company, who produce hand-made, gourmet crisps exclusively made using Yorkshire-grown potatoes and natural flavours, have partnered with Sacchi Tartufi in Italy to create their new Italian Summer Truffle flavour.
The two companies worked together on co-developing a bespoke truffle seasoning made from the finest Italian summer truffle and sourced exclusively from selected specimens originating from Acqualagna, in Gola del Furlo, between Urbino and Pesara which has the ideal microclimate to produce the sought-after truffles and is one of only a few areas in Italy where this type of truffle can be collected all year long.
The Yorkshire Crisp Company Sales Manager Tim Wheatley said: “We’re very excited to announce The Yorkshire Crisp Company and Sacchi Tartufi partnership. We’ve worked hard to develop our Italian Summer Truffle gourmet crisp with special provenance from both countries and we think the final product is delicious and a little taste of luxury which we know our customers will really enjoy.”
