The team at The Yorkshire Pasta Company are celebrating after being awarded Gold Stars in this year’s Great Taste Awards for 2 of their products.
Conchiglie Rigate was described by the panel of Great Taste judges, made up from chefs and industry experts as, “A well-made, quality pasta with a rich aroma of nutty wholemeal wheat and a great texture, that gives an enjoyable mouthfeel. The flavour is simple and clean which would be ideal for carrying other flavours.” Whilst their Tortiglioni was noted as: “A very pretty pasta that looks artisanal and rustic and clearly well made, with a gentle underlying nuttiness.”
The Yorkshire Pasta Company’s founder Kathryn Bumby said: “We’re thrilled to of received these coveted Gold Stars. It’s a great recognition of the hard work and dedication of our team here and to have such great comments from some really well-respected judges is fantastic.”
