2024 EAT Yorkshire initiative

The team at a Thixendale family farming business is repeating an initiative to connect local businesses for the benefit of their customers.

Following the success of previous collaborations, Jennie Palmer from Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil approached selected Yorkshire food and drink businesses to participate in the fourth ‘EAT Yorkshire’ promotion that offers consumers 10% off online sales with participating producers throughout March.

Jennie said: “We were really pleased with the reaction of both participating businesses and customers to the EAT Yorkshire initiative last year, so we’ve decided to repeat the promotion with more producers to give something back to our loyal customers.”

“There are seven new businesses taking part in the initiative, so we now have 25 producers on board, ranging from Soanes chicken and Anna’s Happy Trotters pork to pasta, pickles, gin and gingerbread. Each business will offer a 10% discount on online orders from 1st to 31st March.”

Businesses taking part in this year’s campaign include Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil, Staal Smokehouse, Side Oven Bakery, Soanes Poultry, Chilli Jam Man, The Honest Bean Co, Wold Top Brewery, Sloemotion, Anna’s Happy Trotters, The Yummy Yank, Raisthorpe Manor, Lottie Shaws, Puckett’s Pickles, Yorkshire Wolds Apple Juice, Yorkshire Dama Cheese, The Yorkshire Pasta Co., Warrendale Wagyu and Yorkshire Tonics amongst others.

Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil have created an Eat Yorkshire landing page on their website that will include links to all participants as well as promoting the initiative via social media.
