EVERYTHING’S COMING UP ROSY AT YORKSHIRE FARM!

A Yorkshire farmer was flushed with success this week when he swapped his farming gear for fetching pink!

Graham Sparrow, from Home Farm in Stillington, drove his tractor dressed in his rosy best on October 26 to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care.

“This outfit certainly makes a cheery change from my usual muddy wellies and overalls,” said farmer Sparrow. “Perhaps I should wear this all the time!”

The Pink Friday event, organised by Absolutely Food PR and Marketing ““ which is based at the Home Farm office complex ““ saw dozens of people dress pretty-in-pink for the day, with passers-by and farm workers tucking into homemade pink cakes and coffee (not pink!) to raise £150 for the charity.

Absolutely Food’s MD, Annie Stirk, said: “We were tickled pink with the turn out and the amount we raised, and of course it was a great excuse to eat lots of delicious cakes!”
