Give the Gift of Cooking Expertise at The Cooking School at Dean Clough

Being stuck for ideas for Christmas presents is no problem for customers of The Cooking School at Dean Clough. Voucher sales are at a record high for the state-of-the-art facility in Halifax, where surplus profits are donated to Focus on Food, a charity getting young people and communities cooking.

The Cooking School has been open for almost 4 years and offers a range of cookery courses for young people, adults and groups. The facility was opened by James Martin and since then has welcomed celebrity chefs including Rosemary Sharger, Gino D’Acampo and Brian Turner.

Marketing Manager Rachel Bannister comments “Gift vouchers are available all year round, but we see a big increase at this time of year. Our vouchers are valid for 12 months and the recipient can choose from any of our courses for 2013, which include bread making, tapas, Mexican, food and wine matching and even how to bake the perfect cake.”

The courses are delivered in a modern and extremely well equipped facility for up to 20 learners, where they can sit and sample their dishes as well as take any surplus home with them. Regular courses run throughout the year on Saturdays, Wednesday evenings and during school holidays.

Gift vouchers can be purchased online at www.thecookingschool.co.uk or over the phone on 01422 383192.
