In lieu of Christmas cards, the team at Bradford based Just Desserts Yorkshire have donated a large selection of food products to the Bradford North Food Bank.
The donation, which includes custard, fruit, vegetables, and meats, will be included in the food bank’s Christmas hampers and will form part of the nutritionally balanced emergency food parcels sent to those who are living in crisis in the area.
Between 2020-21, tha charity handed 2185 food parcels to the people of Bradford.
Kate Williams, General Manager of Just Desserts Yorkshire: said: “We’re really pleased to be swapping our Christmas cards for such a great cause by supporting our local food bank. We know how vital these services are and the amazing work they do in helping local families, especially at this time of year, so we hope our donations will help towards putting a smile on a few faces this Christmas.”
