Lottie Shaw’s have revealed new packaging for their iconic Yorkshire Parkin ahead of the festive season.
The West Yorkshire bakery previously packaged their popular traditional Parkin using hand tied bows and a swing tag. The new look design has been created to reduce waste whilst still highlighting their Yorkshire credentials.
Owner Charlotte Shaw said: “For over 15 years since starting the business, we have had the same packaging and many evenings have been spent tying those bows!
“We’ve been working on our new updated packaging for a while now to enable us to present our award-winning Yorkshire Parkin in a seriously good pack that makes us proud to be from Yorkshire!
“By removing the bow we have reduced the packaging and added embossing and intricate gold foiling detail to elevate it on shelves, whilst still allowing it to be fully recyclable.
“As our sales have grown it was important to create a beautiful recyclable box that would be more efficient for us to pack. We really hope our customers like this refresh as much as we do!”
