Masons Yorkshire Gin reopen their doors to visitors

Masons Yorkshire Gin are set to relaunch their distillery tours next month.

The award-winning gin company run by husband and wife team Karl and Cathy Mason will welcome guests back to their brand-new site in Leeming Bar after lockdown restrictions prevented them from running their popular events over recent months.

Earlier this year in March, the Masons team opened their purpose-built distillery after a devastating fire at their old site in 2019. Sadly, the business had to close its doors 2 weeks after opening due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Following the change in government guidelines however and after thorough planning to ensure visitor safety, Masons have announced that it will be reopening its doors to visitors from Saturday 12th September with a number of new and bespoke experience packages available.

Once a month, Masons will host a Friday night cocktail experience led by their in-house mixologist experts where visitors will learn about the colourful history of cocktails before sampling each of the Masons favourites.

On Saturdays, the team will then be hosting distillery experiences giving visitors the opportunity to learn about the history of gin, how Masons pioneered the spirit in Yorkshire and the skill and secrets that go into making their award-winning range. Guests will also be able to sample the core range of gins in their gin laboratory.

Owner Karl said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming visitors back after such a long time and get our tours and experiences up and running again.  The team have worked really hard to put together some fantastic new events and packages which we hope our visitors will enjoy.”

The Masons Cocktail Experience costs £40 per person and includes 1 welcome gin and tonic and 4 gin cocktails and the Masons Distillery Experience is £20 per person and includes 1 gin and tonic and a tasting of the core Masons range.  For more information and to book can be made online at www.masonsyorkshiregin.com
