What you’ll need to know for submitting your entries
Below is some information about the judging process, including how, when and where to bring your products and what you’ll need to include.
Product judging will take place during 29th / 30th / 31st August 2023.
When to send us your Free From products
Ambient products – please send your products as soon as possible after you have submitted your entry form. Products must be received no later than Wednesday 23rd August.
Chilled / frozen products – as soon as possible from Monday 14th to Wednesday 23rd August (shelf life permitting). If shelf life is an issue, please have your products to us by 9.00am on Tuesday 29th August.
Fresh products – by 9.00am on Thursday 31st August if shelf life doesn’t permit earlier delivery.
What to send
For each Free From product you’ve entered please send 3 samples of that product for the judging process. (i.e 3 bottles of beer, 3 packets of sausages, 3 individual pork pies, 3 jars of pickle, 3 tubs of ice cream etc)
At least one of these samples needs to include the whole packaging as it would be sold to the customer, so the judges can consider the design and suitability of the packaging should your entry progress to the Supreme Product stage.

(if your products are frozen or chilled please mark this on the box or let the person on reception know)
Please deliver on the day of judging to the Pavilions of Harrogate, Great Yorkshire Show Ground, HG28NZ. All entries need to be with us before 9.30am. The judging timetable for fresh products will be confirmed in due course.
Please note: Late entries will not be able to be included in the judging.
