Tiers of Joy celebrate 3 years in business

An East Yorkshire Patisserie are celebrating 3 successful years in business this month.

Based in Barmby Moor, Tiers of Joy is an award-winning artisan patisserie company producing an exquisite range of handcrafted sweet treats including macarons, celebration cakes and bespoke afternoon teas.

Run by Zoe Anderson, who trained at Ashburton Chefs Academy in Devon, the business has gone from strength to strength expanding the reach of their wholesale business and picking up awards along the way.

Alongside their impressive range of cakes and macarons, the company’s award-winning range of handcrafted chocolates are all made by hand using the finest Belgian chocolate.

Zoe said: “I have always loved cooking and baking from a very young age with my parents and grandparents.   Patisserie appealed to me as I really enjoy the artistic element of it.

“Its been a fantastic first 3 years in business with one of the highlights winning the Deliciousyorkshire Taste Awards in November for Best Confectionery.  The Judges commented that my entry was ‘an exquisite and beautifully presented selection to be proud’ which was lovely feedback to get from our first awards.

“We’re currently supplying a number of local farm shops and delis which is fantastic.  We’re looking forward to building on this area over the coming months as well as expanding our range to include new products including our new chocolate bonbon and raspberry gin chocolates.”

As well as a huge range of tasty products, Zoe also produces bespoke creations for weddings and special events including wedding favours and macaron towers as well as the sell-out success that was the bespoke advent calendar last December.
